What does parenting mean?

Hmmm, sometimes I sit and ponder what parenting is all about? Is it just basically bringing children into the world and sending them to school to acquire education? That is why I sat down and thought maybe I should start a blog on parenting and also marriage, which we all know is an institution on its own.
 Parenting can be simply defined as the process of being a parent once you have your child", or is the process of developing and utilizing the knowledge and skills appropriate to planning for, creating, giving birth to, rearing and / or providing care for offspring. This simply means that parenting starts when there is a PLAN for it and it involves not just bringing up the children but also providing care for them.. The word "PLAN" is very vital when getting ready for parenthood especially with the economy now, its better to plan the number of kids you want to have and cater for them wella, before you have them in dozens and can't even afford 5 naira biscuit for them.lol .

I am a mother of one( a boy), praying that I have a girl and end it, biko. Have the number of children according to how you can cater for them.
Jeez, got to run back to work, before I shall get queried, would come back again to write another piece of either parenting or marriage. bye for now.
